ZITA TURGEMAN OF YAD VASHEM DIED

Zita Turgeman of the European Department of the International School for Holocaust Studies tragically died on Sunday April 23 in Jerusalem. As a member of Yad Vashem delegation Zita visited Jasenovac and Donja Gradina in January this year, and members of Jasenovac Committee, same as many people from Republic of Srpska were honored to work with such compassionate and devoted person like Zita. |

Commemoration was held on Wednesday April 26 at Yad Vashem, and Minister Dušan Antelj of the Government of the Republic of Srpska sent his condolences to Zita's family and to Yad Vashem. Mirko Marić attented the commemoration as the representative of the Government of Srpska, as well as Mr. Dušan Pavlović in the name of Jasenovac Committee of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
