Sixty-Four years ago on January 14 1942 Ustaše from Jasenovac concentration camp slaughtered 359 villagers in the hamlet of Draksenić, in the area of Kozara mountain in Bosnia, 159 of whom has been murdered in the Orthodox church of St. Mark, later destroyed. Another 300 were murdered in Winter 1943. After the war a small memorial complex and cemetery been made with church being rebuilt only few years ago. Ms. Vranić is the best student of the Faculty in its history and this work is her contribution to the memory of all Jasenovac victims.
