AN
IMPORTANT NEW BOOK ON THE SECOND WORLD WAR LOSSES

The
Croatian centre of Friedrich Naumann Stiftung and Research Community Dialogue
published recently book The Human Losses in Croatia 1941-1945 – Issues,
Examples, Results. Authors are Igor Graovac from The Croatian Institute
for History and Dragan Cvetković from The Museum of the Genocide Victims
in Belgrade. The book came from cooperation of the two historians during
ten international scientific conferrences, that are taking place since
1998. |

This book has been published as the second topical
publication / monograph that consists of related papers from previous
conferrence proceedings, primarily those presented in the separate
workshop on casualties in the 20th century Serbia and Croatia. The
book includes two papers of Igor Graovac (The Dilemma of Victimology
- Victims and/or Casualties? and Correlation Between Demography
and Historiography in the Research of Casualties same as Casualties
Among Catholic Priests Who Joined the Partisan Troops and Croatian
and Serbian Casualties Killed by Chetniks Between 1941-1945 in Croatia)
and one of Dragan Cvetković (Casualties in Croatia, According
to the Register War Casualties 1941-1945, from the year 1964. An
Analysis of the Current State of Research After the Revision)
