Besides taking part in commemoration of the International Day Against Fascism and Anti-Semitism, Ms. Imber was also promoting education on the Holocaust and genocide in Serbia. Shulamit Imber had a reception with the President of Serbia, Boris Tadić, visited the Jewish community and the concentration camp location of Staro Sajmište, and also had reception with the ambassador Zoran Popović and his associates in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. On Sunday, November 11thMs. Imber met Yad Vashem International School graduates from our region, mentored by the Jasenovac Comitee of the Holy Assembly of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Serbian Ministry of Culture.
